關於尤爸學英文影片
2024年5月13日寫給尤爸學英文群組
@All 謝謝昨天 @何貞宜 提出的縮短線上聚會時間的建議，對於忙碌的現代人而言，短課程的確比較容易安排時間學習。為了幫助學習，不論是文章、音頻，或視頻都有變短的趨勢。
我想，或許從下一個月開始，我開始來製作短視頻。每一個短視頻在3-5分鐘左右。累積足量之後，作成影片超連結目錄，讓大家自行安排時間取用。
至於內容取材，我想還是會用教會的文章為主。第一是考慮版權。第二是考慮翻譯品質。第三是考慮讓大家比較熟悉教會的語境。
等大家提升了閱讀、收聽和收看教會出版品的能力之後，就可以觸類旁通，自行選讀其他的文章了。
網路上有許多資源，教導學習方法和提供材料，大家可以彼此推薦，多多使用。
我希望提供給大家的是：補充網路上學習英文方法的不足，尤其是在運用科技學習方面。例如使用：教師提英中逐句對照文件，可按照需要隱藏或顯示中英文，並使用顏色和數字標示文法元素。
學生可以透過練習操作文法分析，學習文法和擴展單字量。甚至可以利用逆向工程，隱藏或顯示中英文，學習英中互相翻譯。
總之，謝謝大家一起學習。一個人可以走得快，一群人可以走得遠。

每一個人生，都有一本成功的劇本。
自從2016年7月，我們卸任全部時間夫婦傳教士返鄉之後，將近8年來，尤姊妺一直擔任新竹支聯會自立專員。她經常接受一些支會主教的委託，使用教會的六個自立課程，施助一些成員，輔導他們就學、就業、創業、理財、和管理情緒。
尤姊妺在擔任全部時間傳教士時，由於連絡事工的需要，加入在全台灣許多支聯會或支會的 Line 群組。返鄉之後，卻因輔導自立個案，繼續有需要連絡各地的專業成員或調度跨支聯會的資源，尤姊妺一直沒有退出那些 Line 群組。
例如：曾經有一個弟兄，想要當飛行員。尤姊妺就透過 Line 介紹她所認識的支聯會一位當過飛行員的成員，讓他們交流，幫助那位想當飛員的成員作決策。又如：曾經有一些外國成員，需要一些寢俱，車子的兒童安全座椅，和嬰兒推車。尤姊妹也透過 Line 協調，獲得跨支聯會的免費協助。
雖然有些施助個案，在尤姊妺看來是成功的，她很快樂。但更多的個案，並沒有達成尤姊妹的理想結果，常讓她感到挫折甚至沮喪。身為永恆伴侶，以及耶穌基督門徒的身份，我用所學習到的福音觀點，嘗試幫助她脫離這類的心靈困境。
人生就像一個舞台，每一個人都有一本成功的劇本。那劇本在天父的手中。人們要活得成功和精彩，就要知道如何取得神手中關於自己的成功劇本，並按照那劇本演出。我告訴尤姊妺，只要妳盡心盡力愛神和愛人如己，天父就能透過聖靈，給妳每一個當下的成功劇本，然後只要妳按照那劇本演出，妳就是成功的。
至於別人是否努力取得天父手中關於他們的成功劇本，又是否按照那劇本演出，與妳是否成功沒有關係。先知和使徒們曾有類似的教導，論及父母是否成功？並非取決於兒女是否成功，而是取決於父母是否在每一個當下都按照神的旨意行事。神對人們的旨意，就是神要給人們成功的劇本。

台灣人是不是中國人?
兩岸不融合，不是語言或身份認同造成的，而是政治制度造成的，一邊是「兩大黨政治」，一邊是「一黨專政」。「兩大黨政治」和「一黨專政」都會把人民分為兩大族群。「兩大黨政治」把人民分為「A」和「B」兩個族群。「一黨專政」把人民分為「統治階級」與「被統治階級」兩個族群。「兩大黨政治」的人民可以隨時按自由意志選邊站「A」或「B」。「一黨專政」的大多數人民都想「成為統治階級」，但無法改變的事實是：若無「被統治階級」哪來的「統治階級」。如果「中國人」代表的是「中華人民共和國統治的人」，那麼「台灣人」就不是「中國人」。如果「中國人」代表的是「祖先曾住在一個模糊和經常變動的秋海棠範圍的土地上，寫方塊字，用筷子吃飯」，那麼很多人都是。
為什麼要騙自己:死要面子
我認識一個人，他非常不認同民進黨的某些族群仇恨的論述，也不喜歡國民黨的腐敗統治。因此，多年前，他試著去找尋一個可能較好的世界。他對他的親朋好友講述自己對台灣的不滿，是他去中國的原因。後來他在中國生活了幾年，在那裏看到了也嘗到了一黨專政的效率優勢和甜頭，對一黨專政開始迷信和吹捧，甚至向親朋好友論述一黨專政終將獲勝。但在現實中，他終究敵不過一黨專政的令人窒息的生活氛圍，也領悟到若繼續待在那裏，會害了他的家人和後代。於是他離開中國，再次嘗試找尋另一個可能較好的世界。為了面子，他死也不願意承認自己曾經對於一黨專政必勝的論述是錯誤的。於是繼續騙自己和親朋好友，甚至要向大眾證明他曾經對一黨專政的論述永遠是對的。這一個人的故事，也是許多人的故事。

為了方便討論，我把詩的句子編了號。第一句是標題。可以從每一個英文字都大寫看出它是標題，並非詩的一部份。英中對照第2句才是詩的第1句。

我的五年計畫
