Laura explain the term 「set apart」

Hello all. I will talk about “set apart” for a minute. Attached you see where it is used in scripture.

When we are called to a position in the church, we have hands laid on our heads and we are given a blessing to give us all rights, power and privilege allowed in that calling. We call that being “set apart”. In a special way we are set apart from others to be able to fulfill that particular calling. Our time and efforts and thoughts are consecrated when working in that calling. 

In the world we can use these words to mean separate.
